  1. 1. Aside from our presentation, I would say that the other two groups had a wonderful presentation as well. I think that given the time constraints, everyone did his/her best to make their presentations interesting and lively. Each individual might have a different concept as to how teaching can be effective, while being fun, hence the different strategies presented in class, that being said everyone still made an effort working with the group and contributed in making the group's presentation. So kudos to everyone! (applause, applause) :)

    2. Looking back at our own group presentation, given more time I would improve on it by having more content, adding more information so that the students can learn more, knowing that the main goal of teaching is to teach and input knowledge to the learners. I would also incorporate more group interactions so that there will be maximum student participation.

    3. While preparing and presenting a lesson based on the exercise last week I have learned that being a teacher is not as easy as other people think. Like every profession, it entails lots of preparation, research. As well as thinking of ways that would have more impact on the learners.
Aside from that preparing yourself, you also have to consider the students, their readiness and abilities, furthermore, you have to assess them, and to motivate them so that you can be effective in teaching the lesson.

  2. 1. To be honest the 2 groups presented well, they were able to give their best in the task given. Every one of us has their own way on teaching, presenting a subject matter to a class. For the group of the guys, the story telling really made a mark in our/my mind, because it was really good and entertaining, considering that the target audience our children. For the other group, the teachers are very soft spoken and not dull, he knows how to make the class lively at the same time full of learning.

2.enough preparation, be ready for unexpected things, be equip so that we we'll be able to discuss things out and ready to answer questions from students. Research for additional informaation.

3.It's not easy when its hands on already, it's exciting to think of ideas on how you will do it, when thinking, a lot of ideas coming, but when it comes on hands already sometime we tend to forget what should be done. So preparation and confidence on what you do is one of the keys.

  3. 1. Aside from your presentation, which group presentation do you like the best? Explain.

I like the presentation of the boys’ group. Especially the part where Jake shares a story. And I think all showed the complete presentation of teaching though we felt its kind a awkward that were teaching our classmates.

    2. Looking back at your own group presentation, how do you plan to improve it if you will be given more time to prepare. Explain.

If given a chance of enough time for preparation, I plan to improve it through adding more content on our lesson, and a creative introduction and transition. I think we lack the materials and on-hand subject content.

    3. What did you learn in preparing and presenting a lesson based on the exercise last week.

I learned that it is hard to prepare a lesson especially if you were given an ample of time to prepare. And in addition, I learned that teaching should require the goal of sharing relevant information to your students. We cant just stand in front of them and doing this and that, we should always consider how, what, and why we teach.

  4. 1. Aside from your presentation, which group presentation do you like the best? Explain.

Our presentation last Saturday was fun and even not very well presented but I think we fulfill our objectives. The lesson that we impart was for the pre-school but I think it was also inculcated to the minds of our TCP classmates.

    2. Looking back at your own group presentation, how do you plan to improve it if you will be given more time to prepare. Explain.

enough time is very important in preparing a lesson plan. Maybe I will add more in giving more task in the generalization and I want my co-group to act to what the narrator is saying(jake). I also want to know the end-mind of my students. And the last part I want to give them (my students) an encouraging message.

    3. What did you learn in preparing and presenting a lesson based on the exercise last week.

I learned that interaction between the students and teacher is very important and to make the discussions lively always make it fun. And always know the interests of the students.

  5. 1. Aside from your presentation, which group presentation do you like the best? Explain

The boys group. Telling or sharing story is one of the best part of it. Kinda boring at first, but the story teller made it interesting especially when he expressed his thoughts by integrating actions, sounds, facial expressions, etc on what he was saying. It helped a lot for us to understand and imagine the said story. They're way of teaching is an effective one particularly to nursery because kids love hearing stories (fact or fiction). Another part that made it best was the activity done which involved the students. It was fun and really interesting!

    2. Looking back at your own group presentation, how do you plan to improve it if you will be given more time to prepare. Explain.

If given more time to prepare, I will improve the content and activity done. What made it impossible is, we didn't share enough thoughts and we just put ourselves into "BAHALA NA" system. Having enough materials is also important to have a good presentation.

    3. What did you learn in preparing and presenting a lesson based on the exercise last week.

I learned that time and materials is really important in preparing and presenting a lesson. Every teacher needs enough courage and confident to talk in front of students. I must think of ways and means to make my class lively and interesting. I should learn to be more flexible so that I could adapt my student's needs in learning.

  6. 1. I would say the two groups had different parts that I liked. I am all praises to em's effort in their presentation even if they hadn't prepare much due to lack of time. Jake's story telling was animating enough to get all our attention and for sure the children will be better listener than us. Both teams had their strong parts even if we are given just a few minutes to prepare so both teams won my vote. =>

2.There are so many things that we can improve if given much more time to prepare. The lesson proper would have been more detailed and I could give more examples because giving out examples is the best way for students to learn and understand. I will ask some students to share some of their experiences about the topic discussed to better see if they understand the lesson. Lastly, I would give out more activities since it is always better to involve the students in discussions and lessons.

3.I learned that student-teacher interaction is a sure hit. The students will be more attentive and will listen more sincerely if they are part of the discussion. More activities will make classroom more lively and fun.

  7. 1. Aside from your presentation, which group presentation do you like the best? Explain.

I like the presentation of the 2 groups because we were both able to present a lesson plan in in a short period of time but I was very entertained with Jake's story telling. It was fun and I learned a lot from the 2 groups.

    2. Looking back at your own group presentation, how do you plan to improve it if you will be given more time to prepare. Explain.

I think we should improve more on the transition
part. We should also prepare more games and activities
that will make the presentation more fun.

    3. What did you learn in preparing and presenting a lesson based on the exercise last week.

I learn that it's not easy to prepare an on the spot
presentation. It requires more time and strategies. I
also learned that there should be more interaction
with the students because this makes learning fun and
    not boring.

  8. 1. Aside from your presentation, which group presentation do you like the best? Explain.

    - The other groups did well on their presentations. They are successful at acquiring the audience's interest. They have done a great job on role playing to stimulate the attention of everybody. Their introduction and lesson proper are well designed considering it was prepared for such a short period of time.

    2. Looking back at your own group presentation, how do you plan to improve it if you will be given more time to prepare. Explain.

    - I guess we should have considered more activities for the class because I think our presentation is a bit dull and boring. Also we lack more information about our topic thus, we cannot produce a good quality lesson for the class.

    3. What did you learn in preparing and presenting a lesson based on the exercise last week.

    - Creating a single lesson is not easy, to think we are divided into groups. I thought it will be easier because there is help from other members. When I think about it, I realized that every lesson requires time and passion, for me to be able to deliver a real quality lesson. Therefore, being a teacher is not an easy task.

  9. 1. Aside from your presentation, which group presentation do you like the best? Explain.

Looking back with our class activity which is a role playing, I had fun. And my vote and praise to both groups because even though we are just given a short time to prepare they were able to display different attack and ways. Not to mention the effort and the fun that they gave and displayed.

    2. Looking back at your own group presentation, how do you plan to improve it if you will be given more time to prepare. Explain.

For our group presentation, if we were given more time to prepare then I think we will improve more on the transition part because that was the part that was missing and we should have more activities and games that involve the students.

    3. What did you learn in preparing and presenting a lesson based on the exercise last week.

When we were preparing, I learned that cooperation, openness and understanding is very important in a group work or activity. Also, I learned that in teaching, it is very important to display creativity and student-teacher interaction. And in that activity, I didn't only learn things but also my relationship with my classmates is more deepened and I became closer to them. And I'm sure my classmates also felt that way because all our presentation is successful.
