  1. 1. The three important parts of the lesson demonstration on Character Education are:

    a. Introduction to the lesson with the use of the golden rule “do unto others as you would have them do to you”.
    b. Defining what character means and the values that make up good character.
    c. Presenting a role model that personifies good character.

    2. The part of the lesson that I liked the most is when the life story of Ninoy Aquino was presented, even though most of us are already familiar with it, being reminded of how he possessed the good qualities and what he made of his life even with trials and tribulations is very inspiring. It made me realize that in times of adversity and affliction, when you are burdened with hardships, having a strong character is what matters most, as it will guide you in making the right choices, which in turn will define you as a person.

    3. I will use the knowledge that i have learned in class in developing my own lesson on Character/Values Education. I will use those information that I have gathered and apply it in making the lesson guides/steps. When it comes to the development of the lesson proper, I will use the values that I have, and the learnings that life's experiences taught me as a reference point and as a comparison to the standard. I will also incorporate activities that show the specific value in my lesson so that there will be a better understanding of the topic.

  2. 1. The three important parts of the lesson demonstration on Character Education are:

---Presenting a quote to begin the lesson proper.
-- Discussing about good character and defining
--giving an example of a person with good charcter.

    2. Which part of the presentation do you like the most or made an important impact in your life.
--- The story about Ninoy, because it gives us a good example of what the lesson is all about. Hearing this, will touch the students heart. And it will served as a good example in their lives

    3. How do you plan to develop your own lesson on Character/Values Education.

---Using what I've learn in my curriculum development, and the things I've learn in other subjects, also I will include my good experiences, that I can set a good example to them.

  3. 1. a.Introduction is always important in a lesson so the students can easily cope with the topic.
    b. lesson proper, which in the demo was the reading of Ninoy's life story.
    c. assessment. Checking or asking the students if they learned something from the lesson discussed.

    2. I think it is already obvious which part is the most important on the demo. The story of Ninoy was the most heartwarming story can be told in terms of the lesson being presented. It will surely be remembered not just by me, but all of the students.

    3. I will have a good motivation so i can get the attention of my students then i will try to find a good reference for my lesson proper. Cite some personal experiences as examples so the students can relate and then have more fun activities to make the students be attentive all the time.

  4. Hi Em, Marielle, and AJ. I am so glad that you have learned many things in the demo lesson on Character. It is true that a life story with a good character is a powerful learning tool to demonstrate the main point of your lesson. I look forward on seeing you develop your own lesson. See you this Saturday!

  5. 1. Describe at least three important components (parts) of the lesson demonstration on Character Education.

I wasn’t able to attend the class on that Saturday that a sample demonstration was presented, so I will answer question numbered 1 and 2 based on the Xerox copy given to me for the demonstration.

The most important paret of the lesson demonstration is the introduction of good values through a quoted phrase, and then next is the transition because this is where you would be able to introduce your subject content, and lastly is the discussion part, because this is where the student would be able to learn your subject content.

    2. Which part of the presentation do you like the most or made an important impact in your life.

I think it would be the introduction and the subject content. Because in the introduction, a quoted phrase was presented that would eventually be a guide to our life. and lastly the subject content could also be a guide to our daily life, especially that it is about values education.

    3. How do you plan to develop your own lesson on Character/Values Education.

I plan to develop lesson through sharing also a quoted ohrase that I think would address current situation in our country today. And through videos or clips showing good values of filipinoes so that they would appreciate the value of being a FILIPINO.

Introduction- this is very important because is where students become aware and know what to be discuss. They need to be informed properly.

Lesson Proper- it is the body and where to discuss everything. It has an important role for students to learn and grasp the topic fully.

Evaluation- For you to know if your students learned something from the discussion

    2. Which part of the presentation do you like the most or made an important impact in your life.

  8. 1. Describe at least three important components (parts) of the lesson demonstration on Character Education.

I was absent that time. I just read the photocopy given to the class.

For me, the introduction is really important because it is where your learner know what the lesson is about. 2nd is lesson proper because it is the part where you really discuss the lesson to the class. This one should be detailed and explained well. 3rd would be the assessment because you will know if the students learned something from you.

    2. Which part of the presentation do you like the most or made an important impact in your life.

    3. How do you plan to develop your own lesson on Character/Values Education.

I would do a research regarding my topic. I would also research some strategies on how to present my lesson plan in class.

  9. 1. Describe at least three important components (parts) of the lesson demonstration on Character Education.

    - The introduction - it is a great way to start and motivate the students of what the lesson or topic is all about. There also is a simple activity about getting a 1 peso and someone took 2 pesos. The students then learned that the lesson is all about character education.

    - The lesson proper - where the character traits were emphasized by grouping us and asking us what we wanted to be when we grow up with exercising one character trait, or how are we going to be a good person while practicing our profession. Also giving an example or inspiring us about the story of Ninoy Aquino.

    - The assessment - it confirms if the students were able to meet your objectives and if they really learned something from the lesson.

    2. Which part of the presentation do you like the most or made an important impact in your life.

    - The part that I like most is citing the life and achievements of Ninoy Aquino. He really is one good example of a Filipino with a good moral character.

    3. How do you plan to develop your own lesson on Character/Values Education.

    - I plan on showing a little video clip from a movie that represents the character trait I am going to present. Do some research, and get advise or help from my friends.

  10. 1. Describe at least three important components (parts) of the lesson demonstration on Character Education.

The three important components of the lesson on Character Education are:

    a) INTRODUCTION/MOTIVATION - if you have a good introduction or motivation then you can get your students attention and participation in class

    b) LESSON PROPER - because in here you present and discuss the lesson to the class, all the important information is here in the lesson proper

    c) ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION - because in here you can assess or check if the students were able to grasp or understand the lesson

    2. Which part of the presentation do you like the most or made an important impact in your life.

The part that I really like the most during the presentation was the presentation of Ninoy Aquino's life-his struggles, determination and success are truly inspiring and unforgettable. I was really inspired and after hearing it I was more determined to reach for my goals.

    3. How do you plan to develop your own lesson on Character/Values Education.

For my presentation demo, I plan to have an interesting introduction/motivation to get my students attention and participation. I will also share my personal experiences to make the lesson for personal because it is about values. And personal values are more realistic and truthful for a values education lesson. And lastly, I will ask for my teacher's help and do some research for teaching strategies.
